COVID-19 - Cancellations and Information

Town & Country Parks parking lots will close beginning 4/3/20 at 8 PM.  Also closed in the parks are: playgrounds, restrooms, pavilions, and tennis courts.  Trails will remain open to pedestrian use at this time.  The parking lots will remain closed through at least April 22, which follows St. Louis County’s stay-at-home order.

In order to protect the health and wellness of City Staff and the general public, beginning Tuesday, March 24, City Hall will be closed to walk-in traffic.  If you are picking up/dropping off plans, or need to make a payment, please call the appropriate department below and make an appointment.

Staff will continue business as usual and someone will be able to assist you during normal business hours.

City Staff has been coordinating with St. Louis County to establish protocols for the COVID-19 virus.  St. Louis County has set up a hotline to address questions related to this matter.  The number to call is 314-615-2660, or online at  Town and Country has also created a page on our website,, which will be updated regularly.  For additional information from St. Louis County, click here. 

In the interest of public health, the following events have been cancelled:
- March 27 "Coffee with the Mayor"

In conjunction with the City’s preparedness response plan, and to limit potential exposure to first responders and the general public, the City is cancelling outside meetings (clubs, special events, subdivision meetings, etc) at City Hall, Longview Farmhouse and the Firehouse until at least April 6, 2020. We regret any inconvenience and feel free to contact us to reschedule your meeting. 

Park restrooms and playgrounds, Town Square restrooms, and the Longview Farm House will be closed to the public as of Friday, March 20.  The properties, including trails and green spaces, remain open for the well-being of our residents.  

The City has also decided to temporarily suspend current solicitor/peddler’s permits and will not issue any new solicitor/peddler’s permits until at least April 6, 2020.

In addition, no garage or estate sale permits will be issued for sales happening on or before April 6, 2020.

The prescription drop box located in the lobby of City Hall is temporarily closed.
