NEED TO VOTE BY ABSENTEE BALLOT?

You must qualify to vote absentee. Above is a link to the request form that can be completed and sent directly to the Board of Election. The form must be received by their office no later than 5 PM on March 24 for the General Municipal Election on April 6, see form for more details and options for return. The appropriate absentee ballot typically becomes available in February so be sure to check the date on your form. The St. Louis County Board of Elections is taking every precaution to safeguard election workers and voters during the public health crisis. Listed below are the precautionary measures one can expect to see implemented for upcoming elections during this time.

  • Voters will be required to wear masks.
  • Poll workers will be provided gloves and face masks.
  • Social distancing will be practiced at the polling locations with election workers maintaining an arm’s length distance between workers at the sign-in table.
  • Liquid hand sanitizer will be available for voters as they enter the polling location.
  • Blue tape will be provided to mark the floor at 6 feet intervals for voters waiting to be processed.
  • Alcohol wipes will be provided to clean the stylus after each voter.
  • Pens at the polling locations will be sanitized after each use.
  • Voting tables and chairs will be cleaned every hour with sanitizing wipes, with a final cleaning being performed prior to our departure after the polls close at 7pm.
