AARP Driver Safety Program
A Classroom Refresher
The Town & Country Police Department is sponsoring a Driver Safety Program at the Municipal Center in Town and Country. This classroom refresher program is designed to meet the specific needs of drivers 50 years of age and older. It covers age related physical changes, declining perceptual skills, rules of the road, and local driving problems. Some automobile insurance companies provide multi-year premium reductions to graduates of this program.
Classes will be held in two, 4-hour time blocks, over a two day period. Current dates are May 13 and 14, 2008, from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Attendees are requested to arrive 15 minutes early to sign in and pay the $10 fee. Light refreshments will be provided.
